Chapter 2-2: Johto League

Finally the portal dropped them somewhere.

They arrived in what was clearly some kind of town, if a large one. There were lots of trees for some reason, and paved path around the place. The houses were purple this time, though one was wider and had an extra floor, likely the gym. There was a tower on the other side of the town, across a bridge over what I'm assuming is a lake. There was also a blue building with a blue Pokeball sign next to it, and another Pokemon Centre.
